about

'Delirium' (produced under the pseudonym J. G. Biberkopf) is one of the tracks on 'The Fountain of Meaning' EP released by the Swiss label Danse Noir. Stylistically, the work oscillates somewhere between IDM and ambient music. The ‘ecosystem’ here is rich in texture, immersing listeners in a church-like acoustic landscape and evoking sonic aesthetics of plainsong and pre-Medieval times. The music uncoils slowly and calmly, with hints of intrinsic angst, and takes its listeners on a stroll down the promenade of acoustic possibilities.
